Malicious was featured in last month’s Playstation Plus update for free. Otherwise, this unique game only sets you back $9.99. The stylized look of Malicious suggests a lengthy JRPG, but it is actually an action game akin to Dynasty Warriors or Devil May Cry.

Bloop is a physics based puzzler available through Desura in which you build platforms to guide the bloopies into their respective vases. Like all puzzle games, it sounds plenty straight forward (and maybe a little weird), but of course that is just the beginning.

Bret Airborne is a Match 3 puzzler in which you partake in hot air balloon battles based off historical events. Well, loosely based at least. Alike the recent match 3 RPG 10,000,000, Bret Airborne takes that Bejeweled style gameplay and tries to put some purpose behind it. I wasn’t exactly looking for another game like this, but with another one around, let’s see how it holds up.

RollerCoaster Tycoon was a staple of my childhood so when I saw it on Good Old Games I knew that I had to have it. Since then, pretty much every night has been dedicated to building successful theme parks. RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe definitely holds a lot of nostalgic value to me, but can it still holds its own in this day and age? Read on!

DLC Quest is a satirical 2D platformer which takes the idea of DLC and applies it to literally, everything. You will have to buy everything from new quests down to the animations and sounds that your character makes! It's an amusing jab at the world of microtransactions that we currently live in, but does it offer any real value? Read on!

Ultratron is the newest game from Puppy Games, the makers of Titan Attacks and also set in the same world. This time around you control the last remaining humanoid and you're out for vengeance of the entire human race in a hectic twin-stick shooter fashion.

Gatling Gears is a twin stick shooter, bullet hell that takes place in the same world as the game Greed Corp. You take control of a mech equipped with guns, rockets and grenades to complete one goal: destroy everything in sight. Sound like something you're in to? Hit the jump!

I have now "played" through Proteus four times in an effort to write up a review and failed at three different drafts. The main problem being that, Proteus isn't a game in the traditional sense of the word; it's hardly a game by any definition of the word. Proteus is more like an interactive science museum exhibit in which you get to experience a world comprised of audio queues and fast changing seasons. Read on and I'll do my best to explain.

Super House of Dead Ninjas is a procedurely generated platformer in which you'll be racing your way to the bottom of a tower filled with foes waiting to cut you down. This is another one of those games that really belongs in an arcade because it's all about high scores and showing off your ninja skills. Read on and I'll tell you why this is one of the best arcade games you'll play this year.
